| Fran McEachern grew up in Kentucky, but has lived most of her life in Washington D.C. and California where she was very active in quilt shows and groups. In recent years, she moved back to Graves County, and became involved with quilters in this area. She is an award-winning quilter and current president of the Graves County Piecemakers.
Her quilts have been displayed all over the country, including the AQA Quilt Show in Paducah.
Fran is also a generous volunteer at the Art Guild, helping with receptions and doing quilting demonstrations during the Piecemakers show at the Ice House Gallery. Every year, Fran donates a quilt to be raffled as a fund-raiser for the Mayfield/Graves County Art Guild.
You can see Fran's beautiful quilts here at the Ice House until April 30. If you would like to meet her, she will be doing a quilting demo all day on April 26.
Raffle tickets for her Ohio Star quilt are available for $1.00. The drawing will be held in December.
