| Tyea Hoffman is originally from Chicago, Illinois. When she was a teenager, she moved to a farm western Kentucky with her family. Tyea has been active in the Mayfield/Graves County Art Guild for many years both as a volunteer and as an artist. She served on the Guild's board of directors where she acted as secretary and head of fundraising. Though no longer on the Guild's board, she utilizes her many years of catering experience to head up the reception committee. When it comes to art, Tyea has tried several media. She does painting, basket weaving, and gourd art, but she is best known for her recycled and steampunk jewelry. Tyea sells her work through the Ice House giftshop, but also at local art and craft fairs. She always has a booth at our annual Gourd Patch Festival and Artisan Sale, and plans to participate in the Derby Day Arts and Craft Fair in Fancy Farm on May 7. Tyea also accepts jewelry commissions.
